Grand Theft Auto 6 has been hit by another wave of alleged gameplay leaks, with a group calling itself Cyberleek releasing two additional clips and threatening to publish more footage from Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated title.
The latest videos reportedly show Jason, one of GTA 6’s two protagonists, in several gameplay situations, including combat, police encounters, vehicle hijacking and interactions with NPCs.
What do the new GTA 6 leaks show?
In one clip, Jason is seen driving at night before getting into a confrontation with security personnel at what appears to be an industrial facility. The footage reportedly shows him disarming guards, using a taser and eventually hijacking a truck to escape.
The sequence ends with a cutscene involving Cal Hampton, one of the game’s supporting characters.
The second video reportedly features Jason attacking a police officer and stealing a police motorcycle before riding it into a canal. He then swims toward a homeless encampment and interacts with NPCs.
Interestingly, the footage appears to show an interaction system similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, where players can choose between options such as greeting or taunting NPCs.
Leaks allegedly tied to cryptocurrency
Cyberleek isn’t simply releasing the footage for free. The group is reportedly running a poll asking users which gameplay footage should be leaked next, with votes tied to purchases or transfers of its cryptocurrency.
The leaked videos also reportedly contain watermarks promoting the group’s crypto token.
This has raised questions over whether the leaks are partly being used as a promotional strategy for the cryptocurrency rather than simply an attempt to expose unreleased GTA 6 content.
Rockstar fights back
Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive have not publicly commented on the latest allegations, but Take-Two has reportedly issued DMCA takedown notices against leaked footage.
Cyberleek had previously threatened to continue releasing material unless Rockstar addressed several demands, including concerns over physical game releases, digital pre-orders, paid single-player DLC and preservation of offline content.
However, the authenticity and origin of all the leaked material remain unclear. It is also unknown whether the group has access to a larger playable build or only a collection of old footage.
The footage may not represent the final game
One particularly important detail is that industry insider NateTheHate has reportedly claimed that the leaked footage could be more than a year old.
That means some mechanics, visuals or gameplay systems seen in the clips could have changed substantially before the final release.
So while the footage is generating huge excitement online, it shouldn’t necessarily be treated as a preview of exactly what players will experience at launch.
When is GTA 6 releasing?
Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026.
An extended look at the game, including gameplay and additional details, is also scheduled to premiere on Netflix on August 27.
For a game that has been surrounded by secrecy for years, these leaks could become one of the biggest headaches Rockstar faces before launch.
