Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. (WRTL) has secured two major Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts for large-scale solar power projects in India with a combined capacity of 800 MWac (1,082 MWp), further strengthening its contribution to the country’s renewable energy expansion.
The projects are scheduled for completion by FY 2027-28.
Two Large Utility-Scale Solar Projects
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the projects have been awarded by a leading renewable energy company in India.
Under the EPC contracts, Waaree Renewable Technologies will be responsible for the complete execution of both projects, including:
- Engineering and project design
- Procurement of equipment
- Construction and installation
- Commissioning of the solar plants
The company has not disclosed the name of the client or the project locations.
Project Capacity Breakdown
The two projects include:
- Project 1: 400 MWac (530 MWp) solar power plant
- Project 2: 400 MWac (552 MWp) solar power plant
Together, the projects add up to 800 MWac (1,082 MWp) of new solar capacity, supporting India’s growing renewable energy infrastructure.
