Jaipur, April 13: Shanti Devi Foundation commemorated its Foundation Day this year by launching a meaningful social welfare initiative dedicated to elder care. Observing the day as a ‘Seva Diwas’ (Day of Service), the Foundation reached out to often-overlooked sections of society. As part of this initiative, a large-scale health check-up camp was organized for over 250 elderly residents at ‘Apna Ghar’ old age home located in the Jamdoli area of Jaipur.
A team of experienced doctors and healthcare professionals conducted detailed health assessments, including checks for blood pressure, blood sugar levels, cardiac issues, vision, and other essential diagnostics. The foundation provided free medical consultations, medicines, and follow-up support to ensure continued care. The joy and satisfaction visible on the faces of the elderly residents highlighted that no celebration is greater than one rooted in compassion and service.
Foundation officials stated that Shanti Devi Foundation is committed not only to charitable activities but also to creating an environment of dignity, care, and opportunity for all members of society. The organization continues to work across key areas such as healthcare, education, women empowerment, and elder care. This Foundation Day celebration reinforced the belief that when service becomes the spirit of celebration, its impact resonates far and wide across the community.
