Sohna, June 1 : In a heartfelt demonstration of community care, FUJIFILM India inaugurated its latest FUJIFILM Smiles Home at The Earth Saviours Foundation in Mandawar Village, Sohna, Haryana—a home for 750 individuals. This new shelter builds upon the original FUJIFILM Smiles Home initiative launched on World Smiles Day last year, which aimed to provide basic amenities to underserved communities.

The newly inaugurated shelter is designed as a dignified, safe space for differently-abled, destitute, and abandoned individuals. Built with a focus on long-term sustainability, it features insulated iron structures and is equipped with essential facilities such as medical beds, wheelchairs, walkers, almirahs, fans, coolers, and curtains. The shelter aims to foster a renewed sense of belonging, dignity, and well-being among its residents.

At the inauguration, Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, remarked:

“At FUJIFILM India, we are dedicated to delivering innovative products and solutions that embody our Group purpose of ‘Giving our world more smiles.’ By blending diverse ideas, unique capabilities, and extraordinary people, we strive to create solutions that bring joy and smiles to the world. Through FUJIFILM Smiles Home, we aim to transform compassion into action—spreading empathy and bringing more smiles to the community.”

Mr. Abhi Shekhar Singh, Vertical Head – Corporate Communications & CSR, FUJIFILM India, added:

“FUJIFILM India has always been vocal about its sustainability efforts, and as a brand, we are committed to engaging with communities that need our support. We began collaborating with Earth Saviours Foundation last year, and recognized the positive impact our efforts had on the development of their shelters. Building on that, we decided to further support them by constructing a fully equipped shelter where more individuals can live comfortably and lead dignified lives. With these efforts, we continue to live our Group’s purpose of ‘Giving our world more smiles.’”

FUJIFILM India reaffirms its commitment to creating meaningful social impact through innovative and compassionate initiatives. This effort is not just an isolated project but part of FUJIFILM India’s broader strategy to address critical social needs and promote holistic well-being. Through these initiatives, FUJIFILM India consistently demonstrates its deep commitment to corporate social responsibility by enhancing quality of life, fostering empathy, and nurturing a culture of care and support across diverse communities.
