Hyderabad, Nov 25 : During the 116th episode of Mann Ki Baat on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised libraries as hubs of creativity and highlighted the Hyderabad-based Food4Thought Foundation for its remarkable efforts in building libraries. The recognition came as a pleasant surprise to the foundation’s co-founder.

“Many experiments are being conducted in children’s education, aiming to foster creativity and a love for books,” Modi said. “Books are considered man’s best friend, and libraries serve as the perfect place to strengthen this bond,” he added, sharing examples of noteworthy library initiatives, including Food4Thought.

“Hyderabad’s Food4Thought Foundation has established impressive libraries, providing children access to authentic information on various topics,” Modi stated.

Reacting to the mention, Madhavi, co-founder of Food4Thought Foundation, expressed gratitude, saying, “We are extremely thankful to the Prime Minister for appreciating our work and sharing it with citizens through *Mann Ki Baat*.” She revealed that she was unaware of the recognition beforehand and had not met the Prime Minister.

Acknowledging the contributions of supporters, she added, “This progress was made possible through book donations, volunteering efforts, and financial support. Our goal is to set up and manage libraries in every village across India.”

The foundation remains determined to expand its reach and further promote education through its initiatives.
