OpenAI has launched new usage analytics and spending management features for ChatGPT Enterprise, giving organizations greater visibility into how artificial intelligence tools are being used across their teams.
The updates are designed to help businesses monitor AI consumption, manage costs, and optimize resource allocation as enterprise adoption of AI continues to accelerate.
According to OpenAI, administrators will now have access to enhanced analytics through the platform’s global admin console. The dashboard provides detailed insights into ChatGPT and Codex credit usage across users, teams, products, and AI models.
The new tools allow organizations to track usage trends over time, identify high-volume users, and better understand how AI is being utilized within different departments.
OpenAI has also introduced expanded spending controls that enable administrators to set default credit limits for entire workspaces. Organizations can further customize spending by creating specific limits for different teams and granting additional capacity to employees who require higher AI usage.
Employees will also be able to monitor their own credit consumption and submit requests for additional credits directly through the platform, helping organizations maintain transparency around AI resource allocation.
The company said the new analytics and spending management capabilities are available immediately to ChatGPT Enterprise customers.
The launch reflects growing demand from businesses for stronger governance, cost management, and visibility as AI becomes increasingly integrated into daily workflows and enterprise operations.
