New Delhi, 19June: OnePlus has announced a new smartphone lineup, the N Series, specifically designed for the Indian market as the company looks to strengthen its presence in the highly competitive mid-range segment.
The first smartphone under the new series, the OnePlus N6, is scheduled to launch in India on June 30.
According to OnePlus, the N Series is aimed at India’s young and next-generation consumers, a demographic that accounts for nearly 44% of smartphone purchases in the country. The company is targeting the ₹18,000–₹25,000 price segment, one of the largest and fastest-growing categories in the Indian smartphone market.
Robin Liu, Vice President of OnePlus India, said consumer expectations in the mid-range segment are evolving rapidly, creating demand for premium features at more accessible price points.
The new N Series will focus on delivering key OnePlus experiences, including long battery life, smooth performance, and refined design, while catering to a broader audience across India.
With the launch of the N6 later this month, OnePlus aims to strengthen its position in the value-premium smartphone category and compete more aggressively in one of India’s most important smartphone segments.
