New Delhi : The Indian Achievers’ Forum recently held a webinar titled “The Evolving Role of Indians in the Global Economy.” Esteemed panelists from various sectors and countries shared their experiences and perspectives on India’s impact on the global stage. The session was moderated by Dr. Shabnam Asthana, Director of the Indian Achievers’ Forum and Managing Editor of CSR Times.
The webinar opened with remarks from Prashant Das, Associate Editor of CSR Times and Director of the Indian Achievers’ Forum, setting a positive and insightful tone for the event.
Dr. Asthana led the discussion by posing essential questions to the panelists. Anil Kumar Patel, founder of Amplify Dreams, emphasized the critical role of skilled Indian IT professionals in tech centers like Silicon Valley, noting the growing demand for trained resources. Shishir Sarkar, an enterprise architect, highlighted shifts in technology, such as the rise of AI and cloud computing, and the need for educational institutions to prepare students accordingly.
Nagarjuna Reddy Aturi, a regional director, discussed the global rise of Ayurvedic principles and initiatives by the Isha Foundation to promote wellness practices internationally. Meanwhile, Jawahar Govindraj, a seasoned technology expert, reflected on India’s advancements in fields like AI, blockchain, and digital transformation, and how they benefit industries worldwide.
The forum also recognized awardees who have made notable contributions to their fields, both in India and abroad, including Atul Punj (USA), Khushboo Yadav (India), Dr. Shaik Mohiuddin (UAE), and many others across sectors like healthcare, technology, and management.
In her closing remarks, Dr. Asthana thanked the panelists and underscored India’s emerging role as a global economic force. She noted that adaptability and innovation would be vital to sustaining India’s leadership in the changing global landscape.
