Kolkata, Aprail 13: Bandhan Bank has contributed ₹4 crore under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative towards the construction of the Ramakrishna Mission Centre for Human Excellence and Social Sciences—Vivek Tirtha—at New Town, near Kolkata. The initiative reflects the bank’s focus on education and skill development as key drivers of social transformation.

The cheque was formally handed over by Partha Pratim Sengupta, Managing Director and CEO of Bandhan Bank, to Swami Suvirananda, General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Mission, during a ceremony held at Belur Math. Senior representatives from both the bank and the Mission were present at the event.

Vivek Tirtha is envisioned as a center of learning that will empower individuals through value-based education and skills, fostering holistic personal and societal development.
