New Delhi, 3 July: AISECT India has been honoured with the prestigious “AI Literacy Excellence Award” at the 7th Bharat CSR Sustainability Summit & Awards 2026, in recognition of its pioneering efforts to make Artificial Intelligence (AI) education accessible to learners across the country and promote digital inclusion at scale.
The award acknowledges AISECT India’s significant contribution to building one of India’s largest AI literacy ecosystems through innovative learning models, strategic collaborations, and community-driven initiatives. To date, the organisation has empowered over 1.8 lakh beneficiaries by equipping them with AI, digital, and employability skills.
As Artificial Intelligence reshapes industries and the future of work, AISECT India has adopted an inclusive approach to AI education by extending learning opportunities beyond traditional classrooms. Through its extensive network of more than 65,000 centres spread across 29 states and six Union Territories, the organisation is delivering AI education to schools, colleges, rural communities and underserved regions, ensuring that emerging technologies are accessible to learners from all backgrounds.
The recognition also highlights the leadership of Santosh Choubey, Chairman, AISECT India, whose vision for technology-enabled education and social innovation has driven the organisation’s growth over the past four decades. It further acknowledges the strategic guidance of Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President (EVP), AISECT India, in expanding AI literacy initiatives and integrating emerging technologies into education and workforce development.
The award was received on behalf of AISECT India by Abhishek Gupta, General Manager, and Mukesh Kumar, Manager, during the summit.
Under its AI Literacy Mission, AISECT India has set an ambitious target of creating AI awareness and literacy among one crore people by 2030. As part of this mission, the organisation has introduced AI Kaushal Rath, a fleet of mobile learning units that deliver immersive AI education directly to schools, colleges and communities.
The initiative is complemented by several strategic partnerships. Through UNICEF’s Passport to Earning (P2E) Programme, AISECT has trained 1.25 lakh youth in Artificial Intelligence, digital productivity and employability skills. Its YUVA – AI for All programme has introduced AI concepts to 48,000 students, while the HAL Kaushal Rathinitiative has benefited 1,806 learners. In collaboration with IndusInd Bank, the Skills on Wheels Programme has provided technology-enabled skilling to 5,606 beneficiaries.
Collectively, these programmes have enabled AISECT India to reach more than 1,80,637 beneficiaries, demonstrating how technology, mobility and cross-sector partnerships can bridge the digital divide and prepare India’s youth for an AI-driven economy.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi said that Artificial Intelligence is transforming education, employment and innovation, and emphasised that AISECT’s mission is to democratise AI education by making it accessible, inclusive and relevant for learners across the country.
Receiving the award, Abhishek Gupta said the recognition belongs to every learner, educator and partner associated with AISECT’s AI Literacy Mission and would further strengthen the organisation’s commitment to expanding AI education and future-ready skill development across India.
The AI Literacy Excellence Award marks another milestone in AISECT India’s journey of leveraging technology for social impact, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening digital inclusion and supporting India’s vision of building a skilled, AI-ready workforce.
