Oracle has announced a multi-year partnership with Quantinuum to bring quantum computing capabilities to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), as technology companies accelerate efforts to commercialise quantum computing and integrate it with conventional cloud and high-performance computing.
Financial terms of the partnership and the exact deployment date have not been disclosed.
Quantinuum’s Helios to Join Oracle Cloud
Under the partnership, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure customers will gain access to Quantinuum’s Helios quantum computer through Oracle’s planned quantum service.
The integration will allow customers to combine quantum computing with Oracle’s existing graphics processing and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure, potentially enabling hybrid workloads that use different types of computing resources together.
Helios is expected to operate on-site within Oracle’s infrastructure and will be deployed at a U.S.-based Oracle AI data centre.
The system is designed to work alongside existing OCI services under the same governance and infrastructure environment used by Oracle customers.
Quantum Computing Meets AI and HPC
The partnership reflects a broader industry push to combine quantum computing with conventional computing technologies rather than treating quantum machines as standalone systems.
Oracle and Quantinuum said they plan to explore how quantum, AI and high-performance computing can be combined to address computationally intensive enterprise problems.

The service is expected to combine Quantinuum’s quantum development stack with open-source hybrid programming frameworks, allowing developers and researchers to build and test applications that combine quantum and classical computing.
