A&N Islands, Aprail 17: In a strong step towards environmental stewardship and marine conservation, TSG Hotels & Resorts recently organized a comprehensive beach clean-up drive at Marina Park Seashore in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The initiative resulted in the collection of nearly 140 kilograms of plastic and other waste materials littered across the coastline.

The clean-up activity was conducted by the enthusiastic staff of TSG Emerald View Hotel and TSG Grand Hotel, who dedicated over an hour to meticulously gathering discarded plastic bottles, wrappers, and other non-biodegradable items. Their collective effort significantly transformed the beach, making it cleaner, more scenic, and free from harmful plastic pollution.

Beyond the physical clean-up, the event served as a platform for raising awareness among the local community. Hotel staff members actively engaged with residents and visitors, emphasizing the vital role of regular beach cleaning in preserving the health of oceans and protecting marine ecosystems from the adverse effects of plastic waste.

This meaningful initiative reflects TSG Hotels & Resorts’ deep-rooted commitment to sustainability and ocean conservation, aligning with the broader vision of promoting responsible tourism in ecologically sensitive regions.

The initiative received strong leadership support, with Mr. TSG Bhasker, Managing Director of TSG Hotels & Resorts, and Mr. Chiranjit Das, Corporate General Manager, personally attending the event to motivate and commend the participating staff. Their presence reinforced the group’s dedication to nurturing a culture of environmental responsibility within the organization and the community at large.

By taking such proactive steps, TSG Hotels & Resorts continues to inspire action toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
