Ranchi, July 16: In a heartening display of empathy and social responsibility, the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club (SSLC) of NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters organized a deeply impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event at the Radha Krishna Mandir in Ranchi. The initiative, held under NTPC’s broader commitment to community welfare, embodied the values of service, dignity, and inclusion.
The primary aim of the outreach was to serve wholesome meals to underprivileged individuals, especially those grappling with physical disabilities, economic hardships, and social vulnerabilities. A total of 50 beneficiaries were welcomed and provided with nutritious food, in an atmosphere filled with warmth, respect, and care.
What made the initiative particularly special was the personal involvement of SSLC members and volunteers, who ensured that every individual was treated with kindness and dignity. Seating arrangements were made thoughtfully, and assistance was provided to those with mobility challenges, reflecting a deep sense of compassion and attention to detail.

The program was spearheaded by Punam Jain, President of the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, whose leadership and commitment to community service continue to inspire meaningful action. Several senior members of the club, along with officials from the temple, were also present, offering their support and lending a personal touch to the proceedings.
Beyond the distribution of food, the event symbolized a larger message of empathy, unity, and social responsibility. It served as a reminder that even simple acts of kindness can have a profound impact on those in need.
With initiatives like these, NTPC and its affiliated groups like the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club continue to play a vital role in building inclusive communities and uplifting lives—one heartfelt gesture at a time.
