Mumbai, June 12: In a moment of immense pride for India and the diamond city of Surat, Govind Dholakia, Founder and Chairman of Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK), was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Diamonds Do Good, a leading global non-profit. The recognition was presented at the organization’s annual gala during JCK Las Vegas 2025, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious jewellery shows.
Accepting the award on his father’s behalf, Shreyans Dholakia, Entrepreneur and Brand Custodian at SRK, expressed heartfelt gratitude. “This honour goes beyond our family – it belongs to every artisan in Surat, to every life touched by our foundation, and to the philosophy we live by: business is not just about success, but about significance,” he said.

The evening marked yet another international recognition for Govind Dholakia, whose journey from a modest village in Gujarat to building a global diamond powerhouse has inspired generations. This is his second major U.S.-based honour, the first being the USGBC Leadership Award by the U.S. Green Building Council for his visionary commitment to sustainability.

10 Years of SRK Knowledge Foundation: A Decade of Impact
The award coincides with the 10th anniversary of the SRK Knowledge Foundation (SRKKF), the philanthropic arm of SRK, created to unify and expand the group’s community development efforts.
