Fujairah (UAE) : In line with directives from Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, and overseen by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs and the Fujairah Charity Association have delivered 530 tonnes of food aid as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” relief effort. Launched in early October under the leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, this initiative is further supported by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, and Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs and Chairman of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council.
Saeed bin Mohammed Al Raqbani, Chairman of the Fujairah Charity Association, emphasized the campaign’s swift response to UAE leadership’s priority for humanitarian action and thanked the 1,000 volunteers from diverse community sectors who packed and prepared the aid. Suhail Rashid Al Qadi, Director of the Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Works, affirmed the UAE’s dedication to supporting Lebanon during this difficult time, highlighting the country’s values of solidarity and the leadership’s rapid response to meet Lebanon’s urgent needs.
