Alembic Group will celebrate its 119th Foundation Day on Thursday by undertaking a series of community-focused Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at promoting environmental sustainability, nutrition and public health in Gujarat.
The company has announced plans to plant 11,900 saplings, distribute 11,900 nutritious meals to children and organise a voluntary blood donation drive as part of the commemorative celebrations.
11,900 Saplings to Boost Green Cover
As part of its environmental conservation efforts, Alembic Group will undertake the plantation of 11,900 saplings near the Chhani canal in Vadodara.
The initiative is intended to enhance green cover, support biodiversity and contribute to ecological sustainability while reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to environmental stewardship.
Nutrition Support for Schoolchildren
The CSR programme also includes the distribution of 11,900 freshly prepared nutritious meals to children studying in more than 37 government schools across Vadodara.
In addition to schoolchildren, beneficiaries associated with various non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in the city will also receive meals under the initiative, supporting child nutrition and community welfare.
Blood Donation Drive
Alembic Group will also organise a blood donation drive as part of the Foundation Day celebrations to encourage voluntary blood donation and strengthen healthcare support for patients in need.
The initiative reflects the company’s continued focus on public health and social responsibility through employee and community participation.
