Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has appointed Poly Singh Arora as its new Chief People Officer (CPO), strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues to expand its renewable energy operations and workforce across India.
Arora brings over 22 years of experience in human resources, with expertise across talent management, organisational transformation, HR operations, workforce planning, business partnering, performance management and rewards strategy. Her appointment comes as AGEL accelerates its growth in India’s rapidly evolving clean energy sector.
Before joining Adani Green Energy, Arora served as Head of Human Resources at Mumbai International Airport Limited (CSMIA), where she led key HR initiatives focused on organisational development and employee engagement.
Over the course of her career, she has also held leadership positions at VFS Global, Vodafone India, and Excel Callnet, gaining extensive experience across aviation, global mobility, telecommunications and business process outsourcing sectors.
Arora holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Punjabi University, Patiala, and is recognised for driving people-centric strategies that align workforce capabilities with business growth and transformation.
As Chief People Officer, she is expected to lead Adani Green Energy’s human capital strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement and organisational excellence to support the company’s ambitious renewable energy expansion plans.
