Bahraich, May 13: AbdulKhalik Educational and Welfare Foundation successfully conducted a free Voter ID Camp on Sunday, May 11, near the Government School in Ghasipur, Bahraich. Running from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, the camp welcomed all individuals aged 18 and above.
Held under the banner of the campaign “Your Vote, Your Identity”, the initiative aimed to assist citizens in obtaining new voter ID cards and correcting errors in existing ones. The services provided at the camp included free registration for new voter cards, name and address updates, correction of date of birth, and photo updates.
A large number of residents participated in the camp and availed themselves of the services. Volunteers were present throughout the day to offer step-by-step guidance and support with required documentation — all at no cost to the beneficiaries. The initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to public awareness, civic participation, and national development.
Foundation Founder Khaleek Jaseem Shaikh, along with Uttar Pradesh Working President Mohd. Saqib Sheikh and Mohd. Safwan Sheikh, expressed gratitude to the local community for their active participation. They affirmed the Foundation’s resolve to continue such impactful social service efforts and extended an invitation to like-minded organizations to collaborate in serving society.
