July 2: AISECT India has been honoured with the AI Literacy Excellence Award at the 7th Bharat CSR Sustainability Summit and Awards 2026, recognising its significant contribution to expanding access to Artificial Intelligence (AI) education and digital skills across the country.
The award acknowledges AISECT India’s efforts to democratise AI education through large-scale skilling programmes, mobile learning initiatives, strategic partnerships and community outreach. Leveraging its extensive network of more than 65,000 centres across 29 states and six Union Territories, the organisation has been delivering AI learning opportunities to schools, colleges, rural communities and underserved regions.
As part of its long-term vision, AISECT India has launched the AI Literacy Mission, which aims to make one crore Indians AI-literate by 2030. To support this objective, the organisation has introduced five AI Kaushal Rath mobile learning units, bringing hands-on AI education directly to students and communities, particularly in areas with limited access to advanced technology education.
AISECT India has implemented several large-scale programmes to strengthen digital and AI skills. Under the UNICEF Passport to Earning Programme, the organisation has trained 1,25,000 young people in Artificial Intelligence, digital productivity and employability skills. Through the YUVA AI for All initiative, another 48,000 students have been introduced to the fundamentals of AI and emerging technologies.
The organisation has also partnered with leading institutions and companies to expand skill development opportunities. The HAL Kaushal Rath initiative, implemented in collaboration with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), has benefited 1,806 learners, while the Skills on Wheels Programme, supported by IndusInd Bank, has reached 5,606 beneficiaries. Collectively, AISECT India’s AI-focused initiatives have impacted more than 1,80,637 beneficiaries across India.
The award was received on behalf of AISECT India by Abhishek Gupta, General Manager, and Mukesh Kumar, Manager. Commenting on the recognition, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President of AISECT India, said Artificial Intelligence is transforming education, employment and innovation, making it essential to ensure that learners across every region have the knowledge and confidence to use AI responsibly and effectively. He added that the award reinforces the organisation’s commitment to building an AI-ready India through inclusive and accessible education.
Abhishek Gupta said the recognition belongs to every learner, educator, partner and team member associated with AISECT India’s AI Literacy Mission. He noted that the award will encourage the organisation to further expand partnerships, strengthen innovation and continue creating future-ready learning ecosystems for India’s youth.
AISECT India said the recognition also reflects the leadership of Santosh Choubey, Chairman of AISECT, and the organisation’s continued commitment to advancing education, entrepreneurship, digital inclusion and skill development across the country.
