Hyderabad, Nov 23 : The Indian School of Business (ISB) has received a ₹30 crore CSR donation from the Ramoji Foundation to support infrastructure development at its Hyderabad campus. The funds will be utilized to construct a state-of-the-art 430-seater auditorium within the upcoming executive centre. Once completed, the facility will enhance ISB’s capacity to host international conferences, research seminars, distinguished lectures, and other major academic events, the institute announced in a press release on Thursday.
“This gift honors the memory of Ramoji Rao by aiding ISB in creating world-class facilities, including an auditorium that will serve as a hub for academic discussions and knowledge exchange. We believe this initiative will contribute to a stronger economy and a world-class Bharat,” said Ch. Kiron, Trustee of Ramoji Foundation.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was exchanged between Ramoji Foundation Trustee Ch. Kiron and ISB Executive Board Chairperson Harish Manwani, in the presence of MCFPL MD Sailaja Kiron, ISB Dean Madan Pillutla, and Senior Director – Advancement DNV Kumara Guru.
Chairperson Harish Manwani and Dean Madan Pillutla expressed their gratitude to the Ramoji Foundation for its generous contribution. The donation commemorates the legacy of media baron and entrepreneur Ramoji Rao, who passed away in June 2024.
