Hyderabad, March 27: The Wagh Bakri Foundation has provided nine electric delivery vehicles to the Akshaya Patra Foundation to aid in meal distribution for 10,500 children across 205 government schools and Anganwadis in Hyderabad and Nellore.
On Wednesday, renowned TV personality and Wagh Bakri Foundation brand ambassador Suma Kanakala flagged off the EV delivery vehicles. The event was attended by Sanjay Singhal (CEO), Yogesh Shinde (Senior Vice President), PC Suresh (Head, South), and Ajay Ciciliya (Head, CSR) from Wagh Bakri Tea Group.
Expressing gratitude for the support, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, Regional President of Akshaya Patra Foundation (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh), emphasized the impact of this contribution. “We deeply appreciate Wagh Bakri Foundation’s commitment, which strengthens our ability to serve more children. These new vehicles will greatly enhance our meal distribution efficiency, fostering well-being and education across communities,” he said.
