New Delhi, Dec 2 : Times Square-headquartered Vertex Global Services, one of the world’s fastest-growing BPM players, has unveiled its ambitious initiative to integrate 10-12% of differently-abled individuals into its workforce within the next four years. This move aligns with the organization’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and creating opportunities for marginalized communities.
Highlighting the importance of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Vertex Global Services emphasized the need to address the high unemployment rate among India’s differently-abled population, which exceeds 70% despite existing legislation allocating 3% of government jobs for them. With plans to grow its current workforce of 800+ employees to over 2,500 by 2028, Vertex aims to strengthen skilling and upskilling programs, particularly in Tier 2 and smaller towns, while creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Speaking on the initiative, Gagan Arora, Founder of Vertex Global Services, remarked, “Differently-abled individuals have demonstrated their immense potential in numerous fields, as seen in India’s exceptional performance at the Paris Paralympics. At Vertex, we are dedicated to transforming lives by providing essential training, language proficiency, and suitable job roles. I urge public and private sectors to join hands in building an inclusive workforce that empowers this underrepresented community.”
Drawing inspiration from the Philippines, where 57% of differently-abled individuals are employed across various sectors, Arora stressed the importance of adapting policies to bridge opportunity gaps and improve the economic conditions of marginalized groups in India.
Vertex Global Services is recognized globally as the 19th Most Innovative Company and operates in seven countries, including the US, UK, India, and UAE. The company offers a wide range of services, including customer support, AI-driven solutions, multilingual assistance in over 40 languages, and cloud-enabled technology services. Their business verticals—Vertex Global Services, Vertex Next, Vertex Academy, and Vertex Technologies—are dedicated to reshaping the BPM industry through innovation and inclusivity.
This initiative marks a significant step in Vertex’s mission to combine technological advancements with social responsibility, ensuring a brighter and more inclusive future for all.
