Jaipur, April 4: Ubuy, in collaboration with the Shilpi Foundation, hosted a powerful celebration of women’s empowerment on March 29th at Kurki House, Nirman Nagar, Jaipur. The event, held during the culturally significant Gangaur festival, honored the resilience, achievements, and leadership of women across diverse backgrounds.
Over 500 women, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, gathered to participate in the festivities that beautifully blended heritage with opportunity. The event provided a platform for women to showcase their talents, express themselves, and embrace their identities with pride.
Dignitaries such as Gopal Sharma (MLA, Civil Lines), RAS Pankaj Ojha, Dr. Rajeev Sharma (Youth Icon, Rajasthan), and Upendra Singh Shekhawat (Deputy Director, Tourism Department) attended the celebration, highlighting the vital role women play in shaping society.
The day featured lively cultural performances, including Ghoomar dances, folk songs, and a grand Gangaur procession. Interactive stalls like mehendi corners, ramp walks, quizzes, and competitions added vibrancy to the atmosphere. The crowning of Ms. Komal Sidh from Bikaner as Miss Moomal 2025 and Gangaur Queen further energized the celebration.
