New Delhi, Jan 23 : Tata Motors Limited has partnered with the BVG Foundation, a nonprofit organization, to develop the Good Samaritan road safety app. This initiative aims to enhance road safety and streamline emergency response through the integration of technology and community-driven action.
The app is designed to work seamlessly with existing ambulance dispatch systems, reducing response times and ensuring prompt medical aid for road accident victims. Currently, the app is being piloted in Palghar, Maharashtra, with plans to expand statewide based on the pilot’s results.
Tata Motors at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Tata Motors showcased an impressive lineup, including the much-anticipated Tata Sierra EV and Tata Harrier EV, both slated for a 2025 launch. The Sierra will reportedly feature both ICE and electric variants, echoing its iconic 1990s design with elements like curved rear-side windows, squarish wheel arches, and a high-set bonnet. Similarly, the Harrier EV retains its ICE counterpart’s styling while embracing sustainable technology.
Sustainable Mobility Solutions
In addition to passenger vehicles, Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle division unveiled a range of eco-friendly innovations, including:
– Cargo Carriers: Ace Pro (new platform), Intra EV pickup, Prima E.55S, and Ultra E.12.
– Passenger Carriers: Intercity EV 2.0 and Magna Coach.
– Specialized Solutions: Yodha CNG and advanced aggregates like Prima H.28 and Prima G.55S.
