Mumbai : The ISMA Foundation unveiled its mission, vision, and logo during an impactful ceremony in Mumbai. The event was inaugurated by Ma Tulsi Pithadhishwar Sri Sri Tulsiji Maharaj, alongside prominent social activist and film producer Smita Thackeray. Coinciding with Sri Sri Tulsiji Maharaj’s birthday, the ceremony held profound spiritual significance.
Led by Sri Sri Tulsiji Maharaj and Smita Thackeray, the International Samudra Mahaarti Foundation is embarking on a pioneering initiative. For the first time, the Foundation will perform the Mahaarti in honor of Samudra Dev, the revered sea deity, with sacred rituals conducted at sea fronts. This project aims to raise awareness about the critical importance of oceans, encouraging respect and preservation efforts. The Foundation also seeks to foster cultural unity, bringing together diverse communities through these spiritual ceremonies, thus promoting global harmony.
Ma Tulsi Pithadhishwar Sri Sri Tulsiji Maharaj, in his address, stressed the significance of reconnecting with nature, especially the oceans, through the Mahaarti. He highlighted that the Foundation’s mission is not only spiritual but also environmental, urging collective responsibility to safeguard and honor the oceans.
Smita Thackeray emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to bridging cultural and religious divides, underlining the importance of united efforts in protecting both the environment and humanity’s shared spiritual legacy. She called for collaboration to protect nature while upholding the spiritual values that connect people, asserting that these efforts will foster lasting global peace and harmony.
The event was attended by notable guests, including acclaimed actor Shekhar Suman, popular actress Roshni Walia, Shadab Sabri, and Kripa Shankar Singh, among other distinguished figures, creating an atmosphere of unity and shared purpose.
