Manjari Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to rural women empowerment, has announced the promotion of Vijay Rawat as the CEO of Katori Food and Pvt. Ltd., its flagship FMCG brand. Manjari Foundation works for the empowerment of women and is active in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, whose founder and ED is Sanjay Kumar who has been a fellow of the Ford Foundation.

Katori markets products crafted by rural women, fostering economic independence and self-sufficiency.

Vijay, a senior journalist, joined Manjari Foundation as Head of Communication in 2022, after leaving his role as Multimedia Head at Zee News. His expertise in communication and media will now drive Katori’s growth.

Under Manjari Foundation’s guidance, rural women establish microenterprises, producing goods sold under the Katori brand. This innovative approach enables women to access markets, gain financial stability, and enhance their socio-economic status.
