CSR News, March 13 : In a significant move to enhance healthcare accessibility, the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has introduced Health ATM machines in Community Health Centers (CHCs)and Primary Health Centers (PHCs) across Banaskantha district, Gujarat, as part of its CSR initiative under Project Aarogyya.
Implemented by Manav Vikas Sanstha (MVS India), this initiative reflects SECI’s commitment to improving primary healthcare infrastructure in underserved regions. By integrating AI-powered Health ATMs, SECI aims to revolutionize healthcare services by offering over 40 essential diagnostic tests, including blood pressure, blood sugar, hemoglobin, BMI, and lipid profile. These advanced kiosks enable early detection of health conditions, encouraging preventive healthcare practices within rural communities.
Dr. Vaibhavi Mane, Social Welfare Officer at SECI, emphasized the organization’s dedication to promoting public welfare through improved healthcare accessibility. “With these Health ATMs, we aim to strengthen rural healthcare systems, ensuring vital diagnostic services are easily available,” she stated.
Ashish Yadav, Senior CSR Officer at SECI, highlighted the initiative’s significance, stating, “Health is a key pillar of sustainable development. By introducing these Health ATMs, we are empowering communities with timely and preventive healthcare solutions, ultimately improving public well-being.”
Akul Vashishtha, Executive Director of MVS India, expressed pride in partnering with SECI for this impactful project. “These Health ATMs will ensure individuals have access to timely diagnostics, enabling early detection and proactive healthcare,” he added.
