Jaipur, Dec 01 : In a program organized by SBI Jaipur Circle, the Chairman of the State Bank of India, C.S. Shetty, extended financial support under the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The funding aims to upgrade the existing operation theater (OT) at Jaipuria Hospital to a modern modular OT, enhancing healthcare infrastructure.
Additionally, emphasizing the bank’s commitment to environmental conservation, Shetty presented a financial grant for developing an urban dense forest in Rajasthan University’s campus. Spread over 25,000 square feet, the project will use the innovative Miyawaki technique, known for creating forests in limited spaces.
Furthermore, a financial grant was also handed over to the Amrita Devi Environmental Institute (Apna Sansthan) to support a plantation campaign in Jaipur’s Heritage City Corporation area. This initiative will facilitate the planting of 15,000 saplings, contributing significantly to greening efforts in the region.
These efforts underscore SBI’s dedication to improving community health and promoting sustainable environmental practices.
