Dholpur, March 30: In a remarkable display of communal harmony and social justice, Sanjay Sharma organized a special Iftar gathering at the residence of Javed Beg on Radha Bihari Mandir Road, Dholpur. The event brought together people from diverse communities, reinforcing the values of brotherhood, inclusivity, and mutual respect during the holy month of Ramadan. Attended by community leaders, dignitaries, and citizens, the gathering emphasized the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence.
Vikram Barauli highlighted that Sanjay Sharma continues to uphold the true essence of Dholpur by fostering communal harmony during Ramadan. Just like every year, Sharma once again took the initiative to promote Hindu-Muslim unity by hosting the Iftar, which aimed at strengthening interfaith bonds and nurturing goodwill among all communities.
Sanjay Sharma, along with Pranab Mukherjee (Retired Army), participated in the Iftar gathering, sitting among members of the Muslim community to break the fast together. Following the Iftar, prayers were offered at Gurjar Ki Kothi, and a communal dinner featuring Rajasthan’s traditional dish—Dal Baati Churma—was arranged, symbolizing shared cultural heritage and mutual respect.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Sabir (Magic Bus), Vishwas Bakshi (Sampark Foundation), Nizamuddin Pehalwan, Anees Ahmed (BJP leader), Haji Ajmeri (Bhamashah & Haj Committee President), and various community representatives. Expressing gratitude, Javed Beg was honored with a traditional turban (saafa) by Vikram Barauli. Inspired by the gathering’s success, Nizamuddin Pehalwan proposed hosting an Eid Milan event to further strengthen communal ties, underscoring the spirit of unity that Sanjay Sharma has consistently championed.
