Hyderabad : A Member of Parliament has formally requested that the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) dedicate ₹121.7 crore from its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Nuzvid, Andhra Pradesh. This proposed allocation would support infrastructure improvements at the institute, aligning with NTPC’s broader CSR goals to foster regional development and educational progress.

The MP highlighted that this funding would be instrumental in enhancing facilities at IIIT Nuzvid, significantly benefiting students and the local community. By facilitating infrastructure growth at the institute, NTPC’s support is expected to advance educational opportunities in the area, reflecting its commitment to impactful CSR contributions.
