Mumbai, Jan 23 : ParaSports 2025 Season 2 concluded on January 21, 2025, at the Sports Authority of India in Kandivali East, Mumbai, with a vibrant celebration of the extraordinary talents and determination of para-athletes. Organized by the Rotary Club of Borivali and Straight Drive Foundation in partnership with the Suburban District Social Welfare Department and FIT INDIA, the event was powered by the Monika Foundation, a CSR initiative of Monika Alcobev Limited. Over 1,000 differently-abled students participated, showcasing their incredible skills and inspiring others.
The event commenced with registration and breakfast, followed by a ceremonial flag-hoisting, a spirited march past, and an inspiring address by the dignitaries. Competitive events kicked off at 9:15 AM and culminated with a lively prize distribution ceremony and lunch at 1:00 PM.
Distinguished guests included Chief Guest Rtn. Chetan Desai, District Governor 3141, Guest of Honour Varsha Usgaonkar, an esteemed Indian actress and model, and Special Guest Dr. Manju Lodha, Chairperson of the Lodha Foundation.
Bhimji Patel, Chairman and Founder of the Monika Foundation, delivered a heartfelt speech during the event.
