New Delhi : The Darshana Singal Foundation (DSF), the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wing of Eastman Auto & Power Limited, is excited to announce the graduation ceremony for 40 women who have successfully completed the KALA SE KAAM TAK program. This initiative aims to empower women from marginalized backgrounds through vocational training and skill development.
The latest graduating class has completed a six-month intensive beauty course in partnership with SStudio Academy, equipping them with essential skills for careers in the beauty industry. This program not only offers vocational training but also fosters self-reliance and confidence among the participants.
In addition to beauty training, the foundation conducts workshops on self-care and hygiene, self-defense, communication, financial literacy, work ethics, and smart personal choices, including Mehndi Art. External beauty trainers also lead motivational talks to enhance participants’ employability and self-sufficiency, encouraging them to become financially contributing members of their families and empowered individuals in all aspects of life.
DSF collaborates with Soundrya Skill Academy in Chhatarpur Village, New Delhi. The first batch of 20 girls began their six-month Basic Beauty Course in December 2023, followed by another group of 20. A second center with SStudio Academy in Vasant Kunj opened in April 2024, enrolling an additional 40 girls in the program. The Darshana Singal Foundation is committed to creating a positive social impact by empowering marginalized communities through education, vocational training, and skill development initiatives. By providing access to essential resources and opportunities, the foundation aims to uplift individuals, especially women, to achieve financial independence and self-sufficiency.
