Indore, Dec 10 : The Indore Cancer Foundation will host an international conference on ‘Supportive Care’ for cancer patients on December 14 and 15 at the Indian Institute of Head and Neck Oncology. The event aims to enhance the quality of care provided to cancer patients. The state government has also issued directives encouraging voluntary participation from medical college faculty, district hospital doctors, dental college professionals, and postgraduate students in the academic sessions.

Founder Chairman Dr. Digpal Dharkar highlighted that a special session on cancer care through Ayurveda, developed in collaboration with Trans-Disciplinary University, Bengaluru, will take place on December 14. This initiative aims to improve symptom management through Ayurvedic practices.

The conference will feature international experts such as Paolo Bossi from Milan, Italy, and Dr. Donald Pantoff from the USA, along with leading medical professionals from Mumbai and Ayurvedic experts from Bengaluru. Sessions will focus on early integration of supportive care, symptom prevention, and practical demonstrations of laser-based photobiomodulation therapy.
