Bengaluru, Dec 11 : Ittiam Systems and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) have signed a three-year agreement to expand their CSR partnership into cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence research and bolster IISc’s flagship BTech program in Mathematics & Computing. This collaboration, announced during a formal MoU exchange ceremony held in the presence of IISc’s Director, will establish an Equitable AI lab at IISc’s Department of Computer Science and Automation (CSA), focusing on fairness, scalability, and explainability in AI.

The agreement builds on previous joint initiatives, including the construction of a state-of-the-art auditorium and a teacher training program at IISc’s Challakere campus. This expanded partnership underscores Ittiam’s commitment to advancing India’s technology ecosystem while supporting education and research excellence at IISc.

Srikanth Krishnan Iyer, Associate Dean of the BTech program, noted the significance of this collaboration in advancing IISc’s mission, while Ittiam’s Chairman and CEO, Srini Rajam, highlighted the importance of supporting next-generation talent and foundational AI research for a fairer and more scalable future.
