Mumbai : The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) has partnered with the Motilal Oswal Foundation (MOF) to create a cutting-edge learning and research hub. The new facility, known as the Motilal Oswal Knowledge Centre (MOKC), aims to enhance IIM Mumbai’s academic infrastructure while supporting the Motilal Oswal Foundation’s mission to elevate educational standards across the country, as stated in a press release.

MOKC is designed to promote innovation and knowledge sharing in crucial areas such as capital markets, business strategy, and financial research. This collaboration highlights the increasing demand for industry-aligned education that connects theoretical concepts with practical applications, which is essential for developing India’s future workforce.

With 33,400 square feet dedicated to the Motilal Oswal Foundation within MOKC, the facility will focus on driving innovation in capital markets, research, and development, further solidifying its role in advancing the industry. IIM Mumbai will utilize the remaining space for modern classrooms, research laboratories, and various support services.

The establishment of the Motilal Oswal Knowledge Centre represents a significant milestone in IIM Mumbai’s pursuit of academic and research excellence. “This Centre will transform our approach to research and learning, providing dedicated spaces for financial research and academic innovation,” said Prof. Manoj K. Tiwari, Director of IIM Mumbai. He emphasized that such partnerships are essential for the institution’s growth and for empowering students and faculty to engage in impactful work that aligns with industry needs.
