Boston, Feb 18 : Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, recently took center stage as the keynote speaker at the Harvard India Conference 2025. Engaging in an inspiring conversation with Nitin Nohria, former Dean of Harvard Business School, she shared her personal journey and highlighted India’s growing influence in education, sports, culture, philanthropy, and technology.

Addressing a dynamic audience of young leaders and changemakers, Nita Ambani encouraged them to dream big, lead with purpose, and contribute to shaping India’s global future.

Here are some moments from her appearance at the conference:

Nita Ambani chose to wear a traditional Indian saree, paying tribute to India’s rich textile heritage by donning a beautiful Parsi Gara saree.

During her heartfelt conversation with Nohria, she became emotional while recounting a personal story. She shared how her mother felt immense pride, reflecting on the journey from not being able to afford Harvard for young Nita to now seeing her daughter invited as a keynote speaker at the prestigious institution.

In a video shared by Reliance Industries Limited, Nita recalled, “This morning, my 90-year-old mother became very emotional and called my daughters-in-law, Shloka and Radhika. She told them, ‘When Nita was young, we couldn’t afford to send her to Harvard, even though she wanted to go. But today, Harvard has invited her to speak.’ It made my mother incredibly happy, and I’m truly grateful for this moment.”

Nita Ambani is married to Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries. The couple has three children – Akash, Isha, and Anant.
