Davos, Jan 25 : Shallu Jindal, Chairperson of the Jindal Foundation and Chancellor of OP Jindal University, showcased the Foundation’s commitment to driving social and economic transformation at the World Economic Forum in Davos. During her participation, she highlighted the Foundation’s impactful initiatives aimed at fostering economic growth and empowering future generations.

Joining Union Minister for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary at a panel discussion titled ‘From Skill Gaps to Skill Gains’ at the India Pavilion, hosted by Invest India, Jindal outlined the Foundation’s successful collaborations with the Government of India in addressing skill gaps and enhancing employability. She praised Minister Chaudhary for his exceptional contributions to skill development and shared insights on the Foundation’s programs that empower underserved communities and boost employability.

At another session, ‘Generational Wealth,’ organized by the Women Inspiring Network, Jindal discussed initiatives by the Jindal Foundation to uplift marginalized communities. She emphasized how these programs promote economic growth and create sustainable opportunities for future generations to build wealth within their communities.

The Jindal Foundation, the social arm of Jindal Steel & Power, led by Naveen Jindal, has impacted the lives of 14.3 million people in India through its multifaceted social development programs. These initiatives span areas like healthcare, nutrition, sanitation, women’s and farmers’ empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, education, rural infrastructure, and sports.

Shallu Jindal’s participation at the World Economic Forum underscores the Foundation’s commitment to creating an equitable, inclusive, and prosperous future.
