Bhagalpur, March 2 : The State Bank of India (SBI), under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, donated an advanced ambulance to the health department on Saturday. The inauguration ceremony was conducted by District Magistrate Dr. Naval Kishore Chaudhary, who cut the ribbon to mark the occasion. Following the inauguration, District Magistrate Dr. Chaudhary and SBI Managing Director (MD) Ram Mohan Rao Amara jointly flagged off the ambulance.

The event was attended by SBI MD Ram Mohan Rao Amara, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Banga Raju, General Manager (GM) R. Natarajan, Deputy General Manager (DGM) Manish Kumar Mishra, Assistant General Manager (AGM) Prashant Prabhakar, Chief Manager HR Amit Kumar Singh, Joint Director of Public Relations Nagendra Kumar Gupta, District Program Manager (DPM) Health Mani Bhushan Jha, and Non-Communicable Disease Officer Dr. Pankaj Mansavi.

Prior to the ceremony, an official meeting was held where the District Magistrate suggested that SBI and its team encourage businesses in Sultanpur. He highlighted Sultanpur’s significant religious and cultural importance, emphasizing that the Ganges flows northward here, making its water highly revered. He noted that thousands of devotees and tourists visit throughout the year, with numbers soaring into the millions during the months of Sawan and Bhadon.

The DM suggested that financial support be extended to businesses related to the hotel industry, flower farming, Belpatra (Bael leaves), and products associated with the Kanwar Yatra, as these sectors hold great commercial potential.
