Boston, Feb 28 : Nita Ambani, founder-chairperson of Reliance Foundation, revealed that the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) will present India’s artistic heritage in New York this September. She made the announcement during her keynote speech at the Harvard India Conference 2025.

The cultural weekend at Lincoln Center will feature NMACC’s debut theatrical production, Civilization to Nation, along with a special fashion show by Swadesh, celebrating Indian heritage. “We are hosting a Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre Weekend at Lincoln Center in New York,” Ambani announced at the event. “Bringing Civilization to Nation to the United States, along with a Swadesh fashion show,” she added.

For the prestigious conference, Nita Ambani chose to wear a traditional Indian Parsi Gara saree, paying tribute to India’s rich textile heritage.

During a conversation with Nitin, she became emotional, sharing how her mother felt immense pride in her invitation to speak at Harvard. Recalling her family’s financial struggles, Ambani recounted a touching moment from that morning. In a video posted by Reliance Industries Limited, she said, “My 90-year-old mother became emotional and called my two daughters-in-law, Shloka and Radhika. She told them that when I was young, we couldn’t afford to send me to Harvard, though I wanted to go. But today, Harvard has invited me to speak on their prestigious platform. I want to thank you all for making my mother so happy.”
