Ahmedabad : Clear Premium Water, a prominent player in the bottled water sector, has successfully launched a pilot campaign focused on road safety and traffic awareness by distributing 1,000 helmets to the public. This initiative was executed in partnership with the Ahmedabad city police and aims to mitigate the risk of road injuries.
In addition, Clear Premium Water recently installed 100% recyclable benches made from recycled plastic in areas such as Prahladnagar, South Bopal, and Makarba in Ahmedabad. This campaign, in collaboration with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), not only provided practical seating solutions but also contributed to reducing plastic waste and lowering carbon emissions.
These efforts highlight Clear Premium Water’s commitment to community well-being, as the company remains dedicated to creating safer environments through impactful initiatives and meaningful collaborations.
Nayan Shah, Founder & CEO of Clear Premium Water, remarked, “This initiative marks a significant step in raising awareness about road safety, underscoring the importance of protecting not just ourselves but others on the road. By partnering with Ahmedabad Police to distribute helmets, we reinforce our unwavering commitment to community welfare and sustainable practices. Together, we are fostering a culture of responsibility and care, paving the way for a safer future for everyone.”
GS Malik, Commissioner of Police for Ahmedabad City, expressed pride in the innovative helmet distribution drive aimed at improving road safety awareness. “Most fatal accidents involve two-wheelers, and many of these tragedies can be prevented simply by wearing helmets. Thanks to the support from Clear Premium Water, we have been able to provide helmets to citizens, emphasizing the importance of safety on the road. This initiative is not merely about helmet distribution but about safeguarding lives and nurturing a culture of responsibility and safety.”
Neeraj Kumar Badgujar, Additional Commissioner of Police, Sector-1, Ahmedabad City, added, “This initiative not only facilitated the distribution of free helmets but also raised awareness about road safety. The campaign was well-received by bike and scooter riders, who recognized the importance of wearing helmets to protect their lives. Throughout the campaign, our focus was on road safety awareness rather than fines. We made a special appeal to our youth to wear helmets, not just for their own safety but for the future of their loved ones. The safety of one person impacts the safety of many, and with collective support, we can build a safer road environment for all. We are grateful to Clear Premium Water for making this campaign possible.”
Clear Premium Water is dedicated to doing more than just providing clean water; the brand actively seeks to positively impact society through various public interest initiatives. This road safety campaign continues the brand’s efforts to promote awareness and effect long-lasting change that benefits the community as a whole.
Committed to its core values of social responsibility, Clear Premium Water engages in initiatives that promote public safety and foster a culture of conscious living.
