New Delhi : Bachpan Play School has introduced SPROUT, India’s first curriculum fully aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS) 2022. Rolled out across over 1200 branches nationwide, SPROUT represents the most advanced preschool curriculum on the market, developed through 35,000 hours of research, setting a new standard in early childhood education.
With SPROUT, Bachpan addresses a significant gap in India’s early childhood education landscape by integrating foundational learning with experiential and parental involvement as envisioned in NEP 2020. This curriculum also includes “Panchakosha Vikas,” fostering holistic development across physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual dimensions.
The curriculum emphasizes activity-based and project-based learning through the SPROUT Integrated Learning Kit (SILK), which encourages family involvement in children’s development. SPROUT also incorporates Montessori tools, Concept Rooms, and age-appropriate competitions to foster sensory and hands-on learning. To support educators, SPROUT offers diverse materials, from lesson plans to character masks, to ensure dynamic classroom interactions.
With its alignment to NEP 2020 and NCF-FS 2022, SPROUT focuses on the comprehensive development of cognitive, socio-emotional, physical, and linguistic skills, crucial during children’s formative years when 90% of brain development occurs.
