Raipur, Dec 2 : Adani Enterprises Limited received three distinguished Indian CSR Awards in the 2024 edition, recognizing the company’s dedicated contributions to healthcare, women empowerment, and sustainable energy.
Presented by the India CSR Network, these awards celebrate exceptional corporate social responsibility initiatives in innovation, sustainability, scalability, and replicability. The awards were conferred during a ceremony in Delhi on Friday, acknowledging Adani Enterprises’ impactful projects benefiting communities, individuals, and the environment.
Adani Enterprises has focused on improving community health through initiatives like the Gondulpara TB Nutrition Campaign, supporting individuals affected by tuberculosis. A Mobile Medical Unit further enhances healthcare accessibility in remote areas. The “Mamta” project ensures the health and well-being of mothers and pregnant women through education and essential resources.
In Chhattisgarh’s Sarguja district, the Adani Foundation supports the MUBSS women’s cooperative, empowering tribal women with skill development and entrepreneurship training to promote self-reliance and drive positive change in their communities. Additionally, Adani Enterprises introduced solar-powered lighting in the remote village of Basi Bardha in Singrauli district, Madhya Pradesh, providing innovative lighting solutions to underserved locals. This initiative has significantly improved villagers’ quality of life while promoting environmental conservation through solar energy.

The awards were presented at the Delhi ceremony by distinguished dignitaries, including Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale and Sambit Patra, Member of Parliament from Puri. The event was organized by Brand Honchos and led by Arun Mishra, who also presented the awards.
