Hyderabad : The Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of the Adani Group, has donated Rs 100 crore to Telangana for the development of its Young India Skills University, according to a post by the Telangana CMO on social media platform X.

A delegation led by Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, assuring continued support for the state’s skill development initiatives and youth empowerment efforts.

The Young India Skills University will offer courses in various fields including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and artificial intelligence, starting this October. Initially, classes will be held temporarily at the Engineering Staff College of India, with major companies like Apollo, Flipkart, and Amazon involved in training 2,000 students in the first year.

The government has already allotted 150 acres of land and set aside Rs 100 crore for the university’s development, with industrialist Anand Mahindra chairing the university board. Since 1996, the Adani Foundation has been dedicated to strategic social investments across India.
