Pune: Mindspace Business Parks REIT has taken a significant step in enhancing its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts by supporting essential infrastructure improvements at Yerawada Central Jail in Pune.
This initiative addresses the critical infrastructure needs of the jail’s 6,500 inmates and staff, focusing on healthcare, sanitation, and emergency services. Key developments include the establishment of a fully equipped primary health center, a drinking water storage tank with a filtration system for clean water, upgraded restrooms for male and female staff, and new washroom facilities to improve sanitation.
Additionally, a 24/7 ambulance service has been introduced to strengthen the jail’s emergency response capabilities.
