Ranchi, April 25:  During her visit to Spain and Sweden, Kalpana Murmu Soren, MLA from Gandey and wife of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, held a meeting with Maria Moreno, President of Fundación Esperanza y Alegría, and Ramiro Mato, Vice President of the foundation.

The meeting was also attended by Maria de Mons Yanzenga, Director of Colores de Kolkata Foundation. Avinash Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, accompanied Kalpana Soren during the discussions.

These NGOs are actively working in India in the fields of education, healthcare, and women’s empowerment. The discussions mainly focused on exploring how these NGOs could collaborate with the Government of Jharkhand across various sectors.

It is worth mentioning that Kalpana Soren also serves as the Chairperson of the Women and Child Development Committee of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.
