Mumbai, Feb 28 : On National Science Day, Reliance Foundation announced the results of its postgraduate scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year. A total of 100 first-year students pursuing degrees in engineering, technology, energy, and life sciences have been awarded scholarships.
Applicants can check their results on reliancefoundation.org by logging in with their 17-digit application number or registered email ID. The application status is categorized as ‘Shortlisted,’ ‘Waitlisted,’ or ‘Not Shortlisted.’
A spokesperson from Reliance Foundation said, “On National Science Day, we celebrate the power of knowledge and innovation. Reliance Foundation is committed to supporting young talent who will shape India’s future in science and technology.”
“The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholars represent curiosity and excellence, and we take pride in enabling their journey of discovery and impact. Previous scholarship recipients have secured positions in leading global companies, while others have pursued research to contribute to India’s progress on the global stage,” the spokesperson added.
The scholarship program provides financial assistance, mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to research and industry exposure. Eligible fields include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science, Mathematics and Computing, various engineering disciplines, renewable and emerging energy sectors, and life sciences. The 2024-25 cohort includes students from 44 premier institutions across India, recognized for their academic excellence.
In line with Reliance Foundation’s broader vision of strengthening India’s education ecosystem, the postgraduate scholarships aim to support aspiring scientists, engineers, and innovators.
“In December 2024, Reliance Foundation selected 5,000 scholars for its undergraduate scholarship program. The foundation encourages scholars to develop leadership skills and contribute to society through social initiatives and volunteer work,” the release stated.
Since its inception, Reliance Foundation has impacted over 28,000 young individuals across India through its various scholarship initiatives, including the Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarships (launched in 1996) and the Reliance Foundation Scholarships (introduced in 2020), helping them pursue higher education.
