This initiative was established by MIT Manipal alumnus Harish Shah (B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, Batch of 1980), founder of Signet, a global leader in pharmaceutical raw materials. Under his leadership, Signet became part of IMCD N.V., Netherlands, in 2020. Through the Harish and Bina Shah Foundation (HBSF), founded in 2002, Mr. Shah has been a strong advocate for education, healthcare, sustainability, and the arts. This scholarship is a testament to his commitment to creating a lasting social impact.
