Mumbai, Feb 15 : Reliance Industries, through its philanthropic arm, Reliance Foundation, received the prestigious ‘Best Corporate for Promotion of Sports’ award at the 2025 Sportstar Aces Awards held in Mumbai. The award recognizes the company’s significant contributions to advancing sports in India.

Nita M Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, accepted the award, underscoring her leadership in fostering a vibrant sports culture in the country. In addition to this achievement, Reliance Foundation athlete Jyothi Yarraji was honoured as Sportswoman of the Year (Track & Field) for her exceptional performances on the track, highlighting the foundation’s role in nurturing top-tier sporting talent.

Reliance Foundation has been instrumental in propelling India’s sports movement through numerous initiatives. It notably established India House, the country’s first-ever national house at the Olympics, during the Paris 2024 Games. The foundation supports over 100 athletes across more than 10 Olympic disciplines, providing comprehensive development from grassroots to elite levels. Additionally, it has made remarkable strides in grassroots football and Olympic sports development, positively impacting nearly 23 million lives across India. Recognized for its dedication to cultivating young talent and enhancing the nation’s sports culture, Reliance Foundation continues to be a driving force in India’s sporting success.
