Hyderabad, Feb 9 : Hyderabad-based non-profit Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) has rolled out an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered healthcare application to enhance primary healthcare services in urban slums. This initiative, launched in collaboration with MIDOC, a U.S.-based health-tech startup, aims to improve patient care through advanced AI-driven medical insights.
Under the partnership, HHF has integrated the MIDOC AI app across its 12 community healthcare centers, which collectively provided care to 5.56 lakh patients in 2024.
The project commenced as a pilot program at five centers located in **Rajendra Nagar, Shaheen Nagar, Ghouse Nagar, and Hasan Nagar. Before deployment, doctors underwent extensive training to efficiently utilize the AI system.
Designed to enhance preventive healthcare management, the app continuously monitors key health metrics and generates real-time alerts for potential abnormalities, enabling early intervention by doctors.
A standout feature is its centralized health profile, which consolidates medical records of entire families, allowing seamless updates, instant alerts, and structured healthcare tracking**.

AI-Powered Support for Doctors & Patients
The app functions as a digital health assistant, offering AI-generated prescriptions based on patient-doctor interactions, thereby reducing manual paperwork and streamlining medical decision-making.
It also provides interactive insights on prescribed medicines and summarizes lengthy medical reports, helping doctors quickly assess cases and optimize treatment plans.
Another notable feature is its AI-driven follow-up system, which sends automated reminders for appointments, medication schedules, and health check-ups, ensuring better treatment adherence.
