Ahmedabad (Gujarat), September 19: Adani Group, through its CSR arm Adani Foundation, has donated Rs 25 crore to support relief efforts in Andhra Pradesh, which has been severely impacted by flooding. “We are deeply saddened by the extensive damage caused by the recent torrential rains and floods in Andhra Pradesh. The Adani Group stands in solidarity with the people of the state and is providing support through the Adani Foundation with a contribution of Rs 25 crore for relief efforts,” said Chairman Gautam Adani on X, alongside a photo featuring Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Karan Adani.

Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, expressed his gratitude on X, stating, “We are honored to contribute to the relief efforts led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Our thoughts are with the people as they work to rebuild their lives and livelihoods.”

With floodwaters now receding, residents from affected areas have been relocated to relief camps. The Indian armed forces have been deployed to assist with relief and rescue operations. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has conducted inspections in various flood-hit areas, meeting affected residents and assuring them of support to restore normalcy.
